Leeds City Council fitted GT Radial’s Champiro WinterPro cold weather tyres to its Community Meals fleet this winter on the recommendation of its tyre partner, Earthmover Tyres. Thanks to the addition of seasonal rubber, the Council said its 16 Citroen Berlingos delivered more than 420 meals safely every day across the city, regardless of the inclement weather.

GT Radial to debut first city bus tyre at CV Show

GT Radial has announced that it will debut its first all position urban city-bus tyre at its CV Show stand (A60) in Hall Five on 9-11 April at the Birmingham NEC. The GAU861 has a reinforced sidewall to improve curbing and impact damage resistance, the manufacturer says, while the new tyre will start with a 20.2mm tread depth. As well as promoting the new product, GT Radial says it will be presenting its commercial vehicle roadside service assistance programme, GT Assist, launched in December 2012.

We wrapped up 2011 with the final round of Formula Drift Asia in the middle of Kuala Lumpur at the pictures Merdeka Square. Leading in to this event I held 3rd position on the points table and was leading the chase for Rookie of the Year. The track was the most impressive, challenging and dangerous layout I have competed on. For every corner you had to be as close as possible to the wall, and the paved surface made the grip level different to anything I've experienced before.
